Analysis of Delhi High Court bomb blast emails sent on September 7, 2011

Two mails sent on two consecutive days by two different senders, both claiming responsibility for the blast outside Delhi high court that has claimed 12 lives so far, besides injuring more than 75 others. Toral Varia makes a comparative analysis of these mails and its effect on the investigations.

The first email from harkatuljihadi2011@gmail.com arrived at 1.14 pm on Wednesday in the inboxes on two media houses -- NDTV and Headlines Today -- just hours after the blast.

The mail allegedly sent out by Harkat-ul-Jihadi Islami which claimed responsibility of the terror attack outside the Delhi High Court stated, "We owe responsibility of today's blast at high court Delhi... our demand is that Afzal Guru's death sentence should be repealed immediately else we target major high courts & the Supreme Court of India…"

Just when the National Investigations Agency sleuths were tracking the first email ID traced to a cyber café in Jammu and Kashmir, a second email is sent to Headlines Today on Thursday.

This time email is sent at 12.37 pm from one 'chotoo minani ayushman' using email id chotoominani5@gmail.com. This mail tries to discredit the first email. It reads, "kal delhi me hue blast me huji ka haath ho hi nahi sakta hai. kyunkiuse hamne anjam diya. hamne pehle se yeh plan banaya tha ki wednesdayke din hi blast karna hai kyunki us din wahan sabse jyada crowd hotihai. ise hamne yani INDIAN MUZAHIDDIN NE ANJAM DIYA HAI. huji ka tohisme dur-dur tak koi wasta nahi hai. hamara agla taret jald hi ranglayega jo ek shopping complex ke bahar hoga. use koi nahi rok sakta.aur yeh agle tuesday ko hoga. rok sako toh rok lo.chotoo (chotu) member INDIAN MUZAHIDDIN"

After closer look at both the emails, one wonders if the investigators are being sent on a wild goose chase. Is this an attempt to enable the perpetrators to escape while the officers are busy concentrating on tracing the sender of the email?

Or are these emails mere pranks? Are the officials losing out on crucial time and leads in the investigation while concentrating on the emails?

"We are taking each email seriously. We are already working on tracking the email after it has been forwarded to us along with the headers," says Prakash Mishra, special director general of the National Investigations Agency.

Since the latest email has been sent by a 'chotoo minani ayushman' who claims to be a member of 'INDIAN MUZAHIDDIN,' a natural comparison with all the previous Indian Mujahideen mails is warranted.

It must be noted that Indian Mujahideen has sent as many as five emails claiming responsibilities for various attacks. All the emails were drafted with precision using PDF files, various fonts and colours, Urdu script, a proper signature, a well researched list of recipients, and sent minutes after a terror attack was executed. All the mails were signed by 'Al – ARBI.'

Content for the Indian Mujahideen mails was usually written in impeccable English, interspersed with the verses from the holy Koran, a picture of the Gujarat carnage, references to 'atrocities on Muslims' amongst other inflammatory literature.

However, one look at both the emails, that have been sent claiming and counter claiming responsibilities for Wednesday's blast, and the first impression is that the mails have perhaps been sent by an amateur.

A senior Mumbai crime branch official associated with the investigations into the previous blasts observes that, "This time around both the mails appear to be an afterthought almost bordering on pranks"

HuJI, which is not very active in India, is not really known to be sending emails to claim responsibility of an attack. And on the other hand, Indian Mujahideen has never written a mail that appears shabby in language and spelling.

Unlike the previous elaborate mails sent out by the terror outfit Indian Mujahideen, both the emails are short with two lines and four lines each.

The second mail especially has strikingly spelled "Indian Mujahideen' as 'INDIAN MUZAHIDDIN'. The sender has written a mail in roman Hindi which has never been Indian Mujahideen's style.

The content really appears to be plagiarised from national television news channels reporting on why the gates of Delhi high court are crowded on any given working Wednesday.

Indian Mujahideen is also never known to leave individual names as a sign off like 'chotoo' (Chotu) member of INDIAN MUZAHIDDIN.'

The sender's list as compared to that of the Indian Mujahideen is also very basic. While the first email was sent to just two media houses, the second was sent to only one. Indian Mujahideen mails have always been sent to a multiple print, television and international media houses.

The language in both the recent emails appears to be very layman like. The mails also differ in formatting, and fonts. The first email has no signature and makes a demand not to hang Parliament attack accused Afzal Guru.

Again on this front, Indian Mujahideen is known to seek revenge and never make any particular demands, while issuing threats to target other key locations.

Timing of the mails also gives credence to police's theory that the mails have been sent as an afterthought. Besides the mails appear to have been sent through stationary computers, which is totally different from hacking unsecured wifi networks and sending mails on the move.

Perhaps the senders are trying to ape the modus operandi adopted by the Indian Mujahideen. Investigators are also working on a conjecture that this is "perhaps because a number of blast cases executed by the IM have gone undetected so far," says an official from the NIA.

This also points to a possibility that the perhaps this is a separate group and will have to be investigated differently.

And while, home ministry and NIA officials confirm that they are taking each lead, including the terror mails, seriously, privately NIA officials believe that the mails may well turn out to be pranks. However, as of now, verification of facts in underway, even as speculations are rife.

In yet another irresponsible statement, after his infamous "Muslims have first right on India" communal statement, to shamelessly appease Muslims and exploit them Regent Prime Minister Manmohan Singh said "Muslims are harrassed by police in India". Why can't he talk language of unity and say police should not harass any citizen of India irrespective of their religion? It's ridiculous, what kind of a leader discriminates amongst his subjects like this on the basis of religion? This is similar to what Indian Mujahideen terrorists said to justify their Jihad against India and Hindus (who they debase & abuse as Polythiests/Kaffirs/Nonbelievers) in their vitriolic emails which they sent 5 mins before each terrorist attack. Sample this, Indian Mujahideen - “the homegrown Jihadi militia of Islam” (as they proudly call themselves justifying with verses from Quran) in one of their hate emails said "The modest Muslim who went for the revenge... were arrested and tortured on the charges of treachery". So just who is the modest Muslim that these terrorists are talking about here? It's Tiger Memon who did 1993 Bombay bomb blasts. So, why is Manmohan Singh fanning such discontentment and illusionary with his discriminatory statements which unfortunately these terrorists feed on? May be he is trying to out do Tiger Memon in modesty!

If there is one thing that Mr. Manmohan Singh's government has successfully achieved in past 5 years is to communally divide the nation by instilling so much fear into the heads of the so-called Minorities i.e. Muslims that terrorists are feeding off of this fake reality and illusory created by Antonia Maino headed party and other pseudo-seculars. Dhimmitude galore!

Just one skim through the vitriolic emails which are full of Anti-Hindu rhetoric sent out by Indian Mujahideen, conveniently censored by pseudo-secular media, shows how each and every insensitive statements by this gutless government may have indirectly caused loss of lives of innocent Bharatvaasi (misnomer: Indian).

So let us see how such irresponsible statements by this selected head of the nation who instead of instilling confidence in the citizens without any discrimination on the basis of their religion, so callously admits that Muslims are harassed in the nation which may then be used by terrorists to commit more crime against humanity. He demoralizes the security forces through his biased diktats to go slow on terrorists. Not only that, even if he tries to show this so-called humane face, he biasedly demands them to respect human rights of people from one particular religion only as if people of other religions especially Hindus don't have any human rights. Hence, he discriminates between his subjects, as if there are no incidents of Hindu's human rights violations. Someone should tell him about the infamous police jargons like Custodial Deaths, 3rd Degree treatment, Police brutality.

The hate emails from Indian Mujahideen are full of mythical incidents, references and stories cooked up by pseudo-secular media, irresponsible politicians like Manmohan Singh and communal activists like Teesta Setalvad which are used to justify their Jihad against Hindus (called as Kaffirs/Polytheists/Unbelievers) and India. In their email sent before Gujarat terrorist attacks, Indian Mujahideen said this about Hindus,

O Hindus! O disbelieving faithless Indians! Haven’t you still realized that the falsehood of your 33 crore dirty mud idols and the blasphemy of your deaf, dumb, mute and naked idols of ram, krishna and hanuman are not at all going to save your necks, Insha-Allah, from being slaughtered by our hands? Nor is your fictitious faith in monkeys, pigs and nude statues going to save you from the Wrath of Allah and His Humiliating Punishment.

Know that it is only the true confession of the Oneness of Allah Alone, with no associates, that can save your blood from being spilled on the streets of your own cities.

Then the media has audacity to ridicule the genuine demand by nationalist Hindu organizations to Muslim organizations for fatwa against terror. Only, if they care to seriously read these emails would they know the amount of hatred these terrorists have for Hindus, the idea called Bharat (misnomer: India) and the freedom provided by these two to one and all, inclusively. But Indian Mujahideen terrorists think otherwise and quote from Quran to justify that "there is no existence of compromise between a believers and a non- believers."

ALLAH says” the recompense for an evil is like thereof, but whoever forgives and make reconciliation, his reward is with ALLAH verily he likes not the wrong doers [ASH-SHU’ARA]

We are quite sure that after this verse from QURAN still defects in your hearts would have not gone and you many plot some mischievous questions to misguide the UMMAH. They say that “Islam is peace loving religion and there is no place for terrorism in Islam “but they don’t clarify who really is a terrorist. O bunch of cowards, we want you to clearly specify what terrorism is all about and who is a terrorist in real sense.

Compromise is only between Muslims if they quarrel among themselves otherwise there is no existence of compromise between a believers and a non- believers. You may take the reference from the verse of SURAH AL-HUJRAAT, verse 9 in which it clearly states that “ if two parties among the believers fall to fighting , then make peace between them both” Here ALLAH uses the word believers with compromise.

Where as in SURAH MOHAMMAD verse 35 Allah says “don’t loose heart and beg for peace while you are superior ALLAH is with you and he will never deprive you of “the reward of” your deeds” ALLAH says in QURAN “If you punish them then punish them with the like of that with which you are afflicted but if you have patience with them then it better for those who are patient.”[16:26]

ALLAH further says in [9:123], “O you who believe! Fight those of the disbeliever who are close to you and let those finds harshness in you, know that ALLAH is with those who have TAQWA” After getting through the above verses the scene becomes very clear that what Muslims can do to Hindu’s to protect their women and children

In their email sent before Delhi terrorist attack they said,

The INDIAN MUJAHIDEEN salutes those courageous and fearless Muslims of Azamgarh who disciplined the bastard Yogi Adityanath and other wretched Hindus who tried to march from within the Muslims in order to tease them and support an antiterrorist demonstration.

Of course, Hindus don't have freedom of speech in Bharat, if God Forbid someone had succeeded in their vicious attempt to gag Hindus then even outside India. So, forget about doing an Anti-Terrorist demonstration in Bharat. Not at least under the present government. No chance under Islamic state ruled under Sharia. Don't forget the continued Hindu Genocide in Islamic Pakistan and in Bengal, Kashmir & Bangladesh.

Mr. Manmohan Singh's government after removing POTA and through their No-Policy towards terrorism has made Bharat so soft that these terrorists can strike anytime and anywhere. So just why is the Congress so ardently appeasing Muslim vote bank at the cost of National Security and security of Hindus? May be this excerpt from Indian Mujahideen's pre-Delhi terrorist attack email can shed some light on it,

As clear from above excerpt "with complete, but hidden, backing of Central Congress government", their appeasement may not quite be working as they want, so may be that's why they are trying so hard again and again.

Regent Manmohan Singh's government at different occasions to polarize the country has inappropriately termed post-Godhra train terrorist attack riots as genocide, oh wait they have someone who finds resonance with their lies,

The public should not forget that this corrupt old hag is the same base-born criminal of the 2002 Ahmedabad genocide and one of the filthy loyal dogs of Modi who should be the first guilty offender to be put behind bars. It is clear from their email excerpt above that they are using now proved mythical incidents to abuse Mr. Narendra Modi and Mr. PC Pandey. The same incidents misused and exploited to vulgar proportions by Anti-Hindu biased media, communal foreign-funded NGOs and Manmohan Singh's government to defame Mr. Modi and Mr. Pandey.

They also taunted the lackluster preventive mechanism of Intelligence Bureau and the response system of Bharatiya security forces,

this imbecile has still not been able to solve the mystery of a simple email from INDIAN MUJAHIDEEN that insults you and proves your lack of ability from time to time.

Indian Mujahideen also used the lies spread by so-called human rights activist Teesta Setalvad to justify these terrorist attacks. She paraded the Gujarat riot victims before the Supreme Court and claimed they had been denied justice. But as proved by the latest SIT report in the Supreme Court, she and her NGO cooked up macabre tales of wanton killings. Here is an excerpt from their email sent before Jaipur terrorist attack.

The SIT also found no truth in the following incidents widely publicised by the NGOs:

* Police botching up investigation into the killing of British nationals, who were on a visit to Gujarat and unfortunately got caught in the riots

Looking at the psyche of Indian Mujahideen from their emails the only purpose which that statement "Muslims are harassed in India" may achieve is to create more fear and hate amongst communities. All the above mentioned lies propagated by pseudo-secular media and NGOs along with irresponsible statements like the latest one from Manmohan Singh only makes the case of terrorists stronger. Terrorists indoctrinated with their hateful verses like the following use these lies of victimhood to justify their shameful acts. This is what they said in their email sent before Gujarat terrorist attack,

And all Praises and Glory be to Allah Alone, the Sustainer of the Heavens and the Earth, Who revealed in His Qur’an:

If you demand a judgment, the judgment has then indeed come to you; and if you desist, it will be better for you; and if you turn back (to fight), We (too) shall return back, and your forces shall avail you nothing, though they may be many, and (know) that Allah is with the believers. All Praises and Glory be to Allah Alone, The One, The Supreme, Who revealed in His Book:
(O Disbelievers!) We are guiltless of you and of whatever you worship besides Allah: we have rejected you, and there has arisen between us and you, enmity and hatred for ever, - unless you believe in Allah and Him alone. (Qur’an 60:4)

And Peace and Prayers be upon His Servant and His Messenger Muhammad (peace be upon him), who said:
“I am commanded to fight the people unless they admit that there is none to be worshipped except Allah, and that Muhammad (peace be upon him) is the Messenger of Allah and establish prayers, and pay the zakah, so if they do this then they have saved their blood and wealth from me, except the rights of Islam and their accountability is towards Allah”. [Hadith narrated by Bukhari and Muslim].

Here we are back - the Mujahideen of India - the terrorists on the disbelievers - the radicals of Islam

Analyzing all these vitriolic emails by Indian Mujahideen and the communal divisive vote bank politics of Manmohan Singh, media and NGOs who are fanning their unjustifiable disillusionment by such irresponsible statements and biased propaganda makes me feel ashamed. Such foolhardy statements like "Muslims are harassed in India" is totally unbecoming of a Prime Minister and shows lack of leadership skills. Mr. Manmohan Singh, I am sorry to say but you disgust me.

The following Hadith also gives stem to our claim As Saab ibn jathama narrated “and the prophet of Allah (s.a.w) When asked about woman and children [tharariyy] of the polytheists being killed during night raid – He said “they are from them” and in similar narration it is reported that he replied by saying ” they are from their father” [abi dawud 3/56, ibn majah 2/97] Also imam Aaini quotes the hadith narrated by ibn Umar Ibn Umar’s narration says that Islamic shari’ah clearly allows the mujahideen to go to any extent or use anything to crush the dignity and power of the enemy in order to defeat them for example 1.by destroying their crops 2.by drying their wells 3.keeping them into severe hardship through siege All the four imam also agree on this particular narration in which AHNAAF’S goes further by allowing to destroy their trees, their area, their animals be slaughter and even they allow the mujahideen to cut the hamstring of their animal if it is impossible to carry them [IMDATUL KARI 14:270]

The above discussion is a clear witness on mass destruction used against the Kuffar’

Terror strikes UP courts: 15 killed

Terror struck Uttar Pradesh on Friday when terrorists triggered near-simultaneous blasts in court premises in Varanasi, Faizabad and Lucknow killing 15 people, four of them lawyers, and injuring over 80.

Six bombs -- three in Varansi, two in Faizabad and one in Lucknow -- some planted on cycles, went off within a span of 15 minutes in the crowded court complexes between 1310 hours and 1325 hours.

Ammonium Nitrate and timer devices were used in triggering the blasts in Lucknow and Varanasi.



23 terror modules operate in Uttar Pradesh

Uttar Pradesh had its worst brush with terror on Friday when blasts ripped through three cities in the state.

While this attack remains UP's worst incident, the fact remains that the state has increasingly becoming a hot bed for terrorist outfits since 2001.

Intelligence Bureau reports point out that there are 23 terror cells operating in Uttar Pradesh.

The first time a major terror operation was busted in Uttar Pradesh was in 2001 when the police foiled a major bid to attack the disputed makeshift temple at the Ram Janmabhoomi site and killed three terrorists. The Intelligence Bureau says there are 130 terror modules including sleeper cells that operate across the country, most of which are in Uttar Pradesh.

Reports suggest terrorists favour UP for two reasons. Varanasi and Ayodhya are hot on the terror list because any attack in these places could cause communal violence across the country.

It was a revenge, claims Indian Mujahideen

A terrorist organisation 'Indian Mujahideen' on Friday claimed responsibility for the serial bomb blasts in Uttar Pradesh, where at least 13 people were killed in Varanasi, Faizabad and Lucknow. Earlier, intelligence officers said Harkat-ul-Mujahideen had claimed responsibility.

The e-mail from guru_alhindi@yahoo.fr address received by a private TV channel claimed that the blasts were targeted against lawyers as they had thrashed terrorists and refused to take their cases.

The e-mail, whose authenticity was doubtful, was received by the channel just a few minutes before the blasts.

It said that "'Islamic raids" would be conducted against lawyers within few minutes because the police apprehended "two innocent groups and framed them with fake charges".

It claimed that the lawyers in these places "beat up innocent group members and refused to take their cases and also not allowed others to take up their cases".

The mail was apparently referring to busting of a JeM module by the Uttar Pradesh police last week following an encounter with the Special Task Force.

Lawyers had thrashed the three terrorists--Mohammad Abid, Yousuf and Mirza Rasheed Beg--when they were produced before the court and had refused to take up their cases.

The mail threatened to make police their next target. It cited Babri demolition, Mumbai riots and post-Godhra carnage in Gujarat as the reasons for launching "jihad" and claimed that the group had no connection with any neigbouring country, ISI, LeT or Huji.

UP blasts a terror attack; Harkat owns up

Sources said the blasts were serial in nature, and only terrorist outfits have the expertise to carry out a coordinated attack.

The courts were hearing the Ram Janmabhoomi case and though this attack, the terrorists could have tried to send a strong message to the judiciary. Incidentally, this is the first time that the judiciary in the country has been targeted.

The sources said even the Intelligence Bureau did not have any information about a possible attack on the judiciary.

5. Local hand in Mumbai terrorist attack: Two Indian radical Muslims involved

     The 26/11 Terror attacks would not have been possible without the inputs and assistance provided by the two Indian accused, Faheem Ansari and Sabauddin, according to the chargesheet filed in the case.
     
     Faheem and Sabauddin have been arrested for conducting recce of the city prior to the November 26 attacks and giving information, including maps, to the operatives of Pakistan-based terror outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT).
     
     The two were first arrested by Uttar Pradesh Police for a terror attack on a CRPF camp in January 2008.
     
     The 11,280 page-chargesheet was filed by Mumbai Police in a Mumbai court on Wednesday.
     
     According to the document, Faheem conducted detailed reconnaissance of the targeted locations and submitted information and maps to Sabauddin, ‘a very important’ functionary of the LeT in India.
     
     Sabauddin, in turn, got in touch with LeT commanders and wanted accused in the case, Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi and Abu Kaahfa and passed on the information, it said.
     
     "During the last phase of training of the ten terrorists in Pakistan, Kaahfa had shown them the maps of the locations. On being questioned about the authenticity and accuracy of the maps, Kaahfa informed them that the maps had been meticulously prepared by Faheem and Sabauddin," the bulky chargesheet said.

     So Mr. Modi was correct and Mr. Chidambaram was wrong. Looks like Mr. Modi knows Mr. Chidambaram's job much better than the latter. It's not a good news for Bharatvaasi that they have another Home Minister in helm who is not in touch with the stark reality of country's security. So much so that even when someone tries to help and suggest an "angle" that should be investigated that he replies back in his parroted arrogant and condescending attitude only to reject any idea. But to his dismay it is the truth no matter how much he denies it. 8. 26/11 chargesheet filed; 35 of 38 accused at large

   Special public prosecutor Ujjwal Nikam on Tuesday submitted an 11,200-page chargesheet against 38 people — 35 of them yet to be apprehended — for the 26/11 carnage. The three who are in police custody include the lone Pakistani terrorist caught alive, Mohammad Ajmal Kasab, and Indians Faheem Ansari and Sabauddin Ansari.
   
   Kasab wasn’t brought to court because of security concerns. Described as an LeT operative responsible for the conspiracy and the attack on Mumbai, he was charged under nine different laws, including waging war on the Government of India under IPC. The other charges are under the Foreigners’ Act, the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, the Railways Protection Act, the Explosives Act, the Explosive Substances Act, the Arms Act, the Bombay Police Act and the Customs Act.
   
   The 38 wanted accused inlcude LeT terrorists, like Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi, Yousuf Muzzamil, Zarar Shah, Abu Cama and Kafa. But there are many faceless persons named only by codes and aliases, like Buzurg, Bara, Aka and Babar. Investigators came across some of the names while listening to the intercepts of the conversation between the 10 Pakistani terrorists and their handlers in Pakistan. But the chargesheet does not mention either Pakistani intelligence agency ISI or the army directly (though some of the names are of Pakistani army officers).
   
   The chargesheet was brought to court bundled in a clean white cloth.

   These damn terrorists brutally murdered over 180 innocent citizens and foreigners and we are told that the chargesheet was brought to court in White cloth. Who the f**k cares! Unless you are trying to say that Christians had hand in this terrorist attack, taking forward media's communal theory of associating such acts with color of a religion. 9/11 commission didn't leave anything unturned to find who all, American or not, were involved, directly or indirectly, even if they were reckless in their duty because of which that heinous incident happened but the Indian government is so scared of loosing it's votes that it can't even say that two (or more) traitor Indians had hand in the heinous terrorist act on 26/11 as proved by this chargesheet. Hence, forget about running a case of criminal negligence against the former Home Minister and other security agencies for failing the nation which caused loss of so many lives.


9. 26/11 info reached conspirators through Nepal: Chargesheet

   Documents consisting details and maps of targets prepared by alleged LeT operative Fahim Ansari reached conspirators of the 26/11 Mumbai terror attack via Nepal, said the chargesheet filed by Mumbai police.
   
   "The accused Fahim Ansari after reconnaissance and preparation of detailed maps of the target locations, handed over the same to arrested co-accused Sabauddin Ahmed at Kathmandu in Nepal sometime in January 2008," said the chargesheet, which was filed on Wednesday.
   
   The voluminous 11,280-page chargesheet mentions in all 47 names including nine dead terrorists and two Indian nationals Fahim Ansari and Sabahuddin Ahmed.
   
   Fahim and Sabauddin had been arrested in January last year by Uttar Pradesh Police in connection with the CRPF camp attacks there.

   So it is turning out to be a Pan-South Asian conspiracy against Bharat. Unfortunately it looks like that it's only going to get harder to control the menace of terrorism but sleeping government with kids-glove approach is only making it worse.


10. City govt to blame for BRT mess: CAG

    In a stinging indictment of the Delhi government over its pet Bus Rapid Transit corridor, the Comptroller and Auditor General has said that a good concept had been turned into a traffic nightmare because of the government's haste to get the project started without proper studies, ignoring the objections of various agencies.
    
    ``The government in its hurry to implement this project brushed aside concerns, as a result of which a sound concept got unpopular because of the traffic congestion it brought about,'' says CAG's audit report for the financial year 2007-08.
    
    The report adds that the decision to change the bus lane from the right side of the road to the left, midway through the project shows, ``serious deficiencies in planning and design''.
    
    CAG talks at great length about the reduction of road space for cars, a point highlighted by TOI in a series of reports on the issue. The report says: ``It could be seen that BRT corridor would make the existing road much smaller for all kinds of vehicles other than buses. No study was carried out regarding the congestion problem that such restricted space would entail. In fact, the planning department as well as the Delhi Traffic Police had raised their concern on this issue...''
    
    CAG also picks other faults with the project, pointing to overspending on concrete roads and the appointment of two consultants ^ RITES and DIMTS ^ for the same work.
    
    RITES as the project management consultant was paid Rs 6 crore and DIMTS as the supervision consultant was paid Rs 1.5 crore even though their functions were ``overlapping''. The report also says that excess funds ranging from Rs 10 crore to 90 crore lay with the Delhi Integrated Multimodal Transport System (DIMTS) for periods ranging from seven days to seven months in excess of the requirement.
    
    ``The government spent Rs 4.29 crore excess in constructing the first 3 km and then abandoned the concrete construction. Even after the bus corridor was switched to bitumen, the pavements and cycle tracks continue to be concrete, the reason for which is beyond our comprehension,'' said Rajvir Singh, accountant general (audit), Delhi.
    
    The government also drew flak for assigning the project to the transport department ``who had no expertise'' in the field when BRT's ``construction and maintenance should have legitimately been allocated to the PWD''.
    
    It also quotes the traffic police saying one-third of available road space was being given to 2.5% of the vehicles in the project.

    This is what happens when unimaginative, unoriginal and most importantly unproductive Ministers go on a foreign vacation at the cost of tax payers money, bring back foreign land's ideas and try to apply it as it is but its catty whompus. It's like fitting an elephant in the house of a kuala bear. Like an adamant kid they don't want to listen to any sane voices and in their case negligently ignore reports from various departments. Result, Billions of tax payers money goes down the drain. BRT is the best example of everything that is wrong with current political rulers in Bharat. Present ruler thinks the sun come up just to hear him crow. They want to bring New York in New Delhi at the cost of Nayi Dilli by demolishing Indraprasth. But it ain't gonna work and will only make it worse.
    
    Too bad for other states because to have more than one awesome, innovative, proactive, strong and Dharmic administrator like Narendra Modi is rarer than hen's teeth. Delhi people should have known better before re-electing Shiela Dikshit again, now the state is in Deep Shit.

12. Few MPs in House in last day of 14th Lok Sabha

    It was curtains for the 14th Lok Sabha on Thursday which will go down in history as a House full of unprecedented acrimony, controversies and dubious distinctions like cash-for-vote scam and disqualification of 11 members.
    
    The Lok Sabha was adjourned sine die by Speaker Somnath Chatterjee who recorded his dismay at the huge 24 per cent of time lost due to disruptions and "politics of intense confrontation".
    
    The House enacted 258 legislations, including the landmark ones like Right to Information, National Rural Employment Guarantee Act, Protection for Women from Domestic Violence Act, Disaster Management Act and National Investigation Agency Act.
    
    At the same time, the 14th Lok Sabha witnessed the unprecedented lows like display of wads of currency notes during the Confidence Vote in July last year, with three BJP members alleging that they were offered money to save the Manmohan Singh government.
    
    The 14th Lok Sabha also witnessed 11 members being disqualified for various acts of misconduct, including corruption. Some other members were disqualified under anti-defection law for cross-voting.

    Oooooh, the house enacted landmark legislations, let's have a look:
    
    Right to Information: Nice step but only on books. Moment after it's enactment Congress led UPA government handicapped it by appointing bureaucrats as CIC, PMO cut it's wings by removing important parts of it for eg. by withdrawing ability to reveal all important file notings, denying the information by hiding behind the official's secrets act and most recently by refusing to reveal any information by Judges, PMO, Ministers and bureaucrats.
    
    National Rural Employment Guarantee Act: Zealously marketed as Antonia Maino aka Sonia Gandhi's pet project (mind you not Prime Minister but Super PM), this is just another farce Band Aid act to fool the innocent poor farmers et al. It's an act with most under used funds and ironically it's best implemented in non-Congress non-Left BJP ruled states.
    
    Protection for Women from Domestic Violence Act: Bombastic, Female chauvinist and selective claimer of "Talibanization is happening" Ms. Renuka Chaudhury of Congress brought this one-sided not-so-men-friendly-due-to-loop-holes act which did nothing but to legitimize another one of blindly copied immoral western concept of "live-in" relationships. In addition to create more complex societies because now a person has to pay maintenance to any woman who claims it by accusing domestic violence, in other words living a polygamist life despite being a single, this may cause an increase in the false cases which will waste all important judiciary time and taxpayers money. It's funny that so much was the side effect of this act, most probably coincidentally, that Yash Raj Films and Karan Johar have been only coming out with movies on the topic of live-in relationships (like Salam Namaste) and infidelity (some K movie.. Kabhi Alvida something I guess).
    
    Disaster Management Act: Oh, how well Bharat managed disasters like floods in Bihar, Islamic terrorist attack in Mumbai on 26/11 when NSG took more than 14 hours to reach the ground zero and some of the Indian media possibly compromised the operation due to their unethical journalistic practices or recently during false hijack by a deranged man when officials had no idea what to do with the isolated plane and it took more than 2 hours to open the door and passengers were talking to media through relatives.
    
    National Investigation Agency Act: Here we come to the NIAaaaa (yawning) agency. You may not be concerned but bring us (Congress led UPA with Left support) to power and we will remove POTA, not build infrastructure, not build schools, not build colleges, not stop taxing any Mandirs, not stop breaking Ancient Hindu heritages, not build an indigenous weapons system with strong armed forces but bring us to power and we will remove POTA. What was the f**cking point of removing POTA when you had to create this half-baked bureaucratic agency half-heartedly not immuned from political influence. Why did this derelict government waited for over 42 major terrorist and naxal attacks to happen only to bring this handicapped version of act back without any proper Parliament scrutiny? Why was the fashionable Shivraj Patil, the worst Home Minister who was busy changing his clothes not sacked earlier? Why is he not being tried for criminal negligence when there was credible information about the recent Islamic terrorist attacks in Mumbai as back as one year before the unfortunate day?
    
    The report may have conveniently forgotten but we have not forgotten this following bill:
    
    Office of Profit Bill: A tight slap on the face of constitution's founding fathers and the people of the so-called republic when the whole constitution is modified just to save and for the profit of one person who was married in the dynasty which conveniently happens to have the same last name as one of the freedom fighter of Bharat. The shameful bill has the word profit in it and it is nothing but black spot on the Khichdi constitution of Bharat. Unfortunately the meaning of Republic stands changed from "of the people by the people for the people that is not led by a hereditary monarch" to "of a person by a person for the person led by a particular dynastic monarchy in disguise of democracy".
    
    TOI you are right. These are landmark legislations. They serve as exemplary example of what not to do for future generation of Bharat, if they happen to be Hindu and nationalist that is, and they will laugh over dinner of what fool their ancestors were to not learn from their ancestor Dhritrashtr's mistakes.

    Terming Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah's statement hinting at revocation of Armed Forces Special Powers Act in the
    state as "regressive", Army has opposed any such move, TV reports say.
    
    According to Times Now, Army sources have said that any move to revoke AFSPA by the chief minister in J&K would be detrimental to the security of the Valley and would provide a boost to the terrorists.

15. Hyderabad court asks police to book MP

    A city court on Thursday directed the police to register a case against Congress leader and MP Madhu Yashki Goud and his family members for allegedly using forged documents to go to the US.
    
    The magistrate directed Hyderabad police commissioner B. Prasada Rao to probe allegations that the MP had gone to the US on forged documents and also sent his family members in a similar way.
    
    The order came on a complaint filed by Congress leader Gone Prakash Rao, who alleged that Goud had two passports and that he forged documents including educational certificates.
    
    Prakash Rao hailed the court order. He said he approached the court after the police commissioner did not act on his request to verify the certificates of the MP and his family members, as they got their US visas on fake educational certificates.
    
    Goud, who is secretary of All India Congress Committee, represents Nizamabad Lok Sabha constituency.
    
    Prakash Rao, former chairman of state-owned Andhra Pradesh Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC), claimed that Goud obtained a second passport with slight change in surname after his visa application was rejected by the US consulate.
    
    He also alleged that Goud sent his two brothers, a sister and a brother-in-law to the US on fake educational certificates and they later got green cards.
    
    Goud, an Indian American who was elected to the Lok Sabha in 2004, has denied the allegations.

    What in h*ll is this?! If he is an Indian American then how can he contest elections in India? How reckless is Congress party to give tickets to non-citizens like Moni Kumar Subba, Congress MP from Tezpur, Assam who is a Nepalese citizen that too a wanted criminal and also this American citizen to run for Lok Sabha election? What is Election Commission doing? Do they not do any background checks at all?


16. Police bust syringe racket in hepatitis probe: Report

    The alleged mastermind of the racket -- Saijuddin, who goes by one name -- collected the used syringes from private clinics and hospitals and resold them, said the report.
    
    At least 48 people have died in a hepatitis B outbreak in the town of Modasa in western Gujarat state, and another 154 people have been infected.
    
    Hepatitis B is a virus that is spread through blood and bodily fluids.
    
    PTI reported that the state government had immunised 70,000 people in Modasa and surrounding rural areas and launched a campaign to encourage the use of disposable syringes in hospitals and medical facilities.

20. Security to Delhiites 'inadequate': Parliamentary Panel

    The Standing Committee on Home Affairs in its report said the actual security cover to the people of Delhi and the National Capital Region (NCR) ahead of the Games "appears to be inadequate, particularly in the light of the recent serial bomb blasts and more recently the Mumbai terror attacks".
    
    "It hardly needs to be emphasised that it is the foremost duty of the government to ensure safety and security of its citizens," the panel, headed by Sushma Swaraj, said in its report presented to both Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha.
    
    It recommended that the Union Home Ministry must undertake a "comprehensive review" of the security capability of the Delhi Police and provide the force with required personnel, weapons and training so that the life and liberty of the residents of Delhi could be secured.
    
    "The Committee also desires that the Metro stations in Delhi need to be provided full security and no stone should be left unturned," it said.

    If they could spare some money from the Rs 180 crore that they spend on each of themselves per year including everyone in Gandhi-Maino family and increase the Rs 158 total that they spend on One billion Indians, may be Bharat would be a little more safe place.
