Rahul Gandhi and his Colombian girlfriend Juvenitta

Spread The Word

Please do read the LIST of publicly known Scams under CONgress led United Progressive Alliance (UPA), Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Manmohan Singh's corrupt government, and others.

Amazing that people are more interested in "Rahul Gandhi Girlfriend" than the fact that he was partying till 5 AM in the morning while the nation was mourning the gruesome 26/11 Islamic terrorist attack on Mumbai.Check out the party pictures here. Anyways, the choice is yours if you want such people leading your nation and ruling your future. Make your own judgments.

He, as per Dr. Swamy's talk below, has allegedly dropped out of College three times and he failed in his Hindi exam.

As per Dr. Swamy, Rahul Gandhi is a drug addict for which he has been to detox many times and suffers from epilepsy. He is also addicted to Women.

Since he is a public figure now and there is allot of confusion & controversy about his educational background. Here are two opposing arguments about his controversial MPhil from University of Cambridge.

Side A:
  1. Truth about Rahul’s MPhil

  2. Rahul Gandhi, spin doctor

  3. Raul Vinci's certificate from University of Cambridge

  4. Dr. Subramanian Swamy's research on Raul's past

  5. Rahul Gandhi a College drop out just like his father

  6. We stand by Rahul’s MPhil story

  7. Rahul Gandhi and his dubious Cambridge degree

  8. Controversey surrounds Rahul Gandhi’s MPhil

Side B:
  1. Congress notice to Chennai paper for questioning Rahul Gandhi’s qualifications

  2. A Congress Sycophant's take on Rahul Gandhi's education controvesy. Please read the debate on it between an Aam Aadmi and Congress's Dynasty Sycophant in the comments section.

My take on this controversy about his dubious education background is that I don't know. We need more proof to pass any final judgment for or against Mr. Vinci's educational background. However, since he is a public figure and Bharat is a democracy and not a dynastic monarchic dictatorship, at least on paper, so people have freedom of speech to express their opinion, at least theoretically, and to question their politicians. Hence Indian people have a right to know. If Mr. Vinci has indeed graduated from Trinity College with MPhil in Development Studies or Economics. Good for him. But if he hasn't, which may be a higher possibility as he failed in the subject of National Economic planning & policy as per the certificate, its fine too, as long as he doesn't intentionally lie about it to mislead people. Same is also alleged about Raul Vinci's cousin Varun Gandhi that latter too may have lied about his degree from London School of Economics. There is no harm in admitting that you are not a graduate. After all, Millions of Bharatvaasi (misnomer: Indians) are still illiterate and below poverty line as thousands of farmers are committing suicide in the same country. Who is to blame for poor illiteracy rate is anybody's guess. Like I said before, make your own judgments.

As for his Colombian girlfriend, what can I say, just go through the following links and search for "Juvenitta" yourself. You will find what is cooking between Congress's heir apparent Raul Vinci aka Rahul Gandhi and his Colombian girl friend Juvenitta aka Veronique Kateli. Make your own judgments.

Lecture by Noted Economist, Historian, Harvard Faculty and former Union Commerce Minister Dr. Subramanian Swamy, National President, Janata Party on Freedom of Speech suppressed and gagged by Government of India in which apart from talking on Freedom of Speech being gagged in Bharat and other important fallacies in Antonia Maino aka Sonia Gandhi's claims. Dr. Swamy talks on Raul Vinci's education background and allot of fallacies that he has found in Mr. Vinci's claims that he has studied in US, England, etc. He also talks about his citizenship and why he uses an Italian passport in the name of Raul Vinci.

Also, available here "Dr. Swamy on Rahul Gandhi's education & citizenship".

Following is the complete speech in which Dr. Swamy talks about Raul's girlfriend Veronique Kateli in detail. As per Dr. Swamy the couple was arrested by FBI at Boston airport on 9/27/2001 with $160,000 in cash and they live together at Raul Vinci's house on Tughlak Road/Lane in Delhi:

Rahul's $0.2 mn encounter with FBI
A suit has been filed in the high court here seeking information about the alleged detention of Congress MP Rahul Gandhi and his Colombian girlfriend by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in 2001.

According to the public interest litigation, Gandhi, the son of Congress president Sonia Gandhi, and his companion were released after being detained at Boston airport following the intervention of the Prime Minister's Office.

At that time, Atal Bihari Vajpayee was the Indian prime minister and Gandhi was not a member of the Lok Sabha.

"Vajpayee's principal secretary and then national security adviser Brajesh Misra spoke to top US authorities to enable Rahul Gandhi and his girlfriend to get away," claimed Prem Chandra Sharma, who moved the court along with three others.

Sharma claimed to have gathered this information through the Internet and said he had downloaded certain documents to substantiate his
allegations.

The petition alleged that Gandhi was found in illegal possession of about $200,000. And it was in that connection that the FBI had detained him along with his girlfriend Sep 21, 2001.

The FBI was said to have sought an explanation about Gandhi's possession of such a huge amount of money, which he was unable to provide, the petition said.

The petition sought a writ of mandamus to the Indian ambassador to the US as well as the union home secretary to make a disclosure about the entire episode.

Recently, Rahul courted a controversy, courtesy Juvenitta, his Colombian girlfriend. They were first photographed together watching the 1999 World Cup in England. Rahul was accused of ‘immorality’ after staying with Juvenitta at a resort in Kumarakom, Kerala.

Is Rahul marrying an Indian bride or Spanish girl Veronique?

As far back as May 2006, astrologers had predicted that Rahul Gandhi’s desire to marry a foreigner would not materialise and he would instead get married to an Indian girl, most probably with the blessings of his mother. At that time, his relationship with his Spanish girlfriend Veronique (often erroneously described as Juanita and Columbian), who he’d met during his student years at Cambridge, was going extremely strong.

There were reports that Veronique had even accompanied Rahul when he went on a holiday with his sister Priyanka to Kerala, suggesting that the family was comfortable with his choice. Later, there were rumours that he’d secretly married Veronique in the Tenerife Islands, the exotic island getaway that’s the playground of Europe’s rich and famous.

The sense of deja vu about the whole affair is palpable. His father, Rajiv Gandhi, met an Italian girl during his student years at Cambridge. He later married Sonia Maino, despite the sensitivities involved

Three days later, his entire family was celebrating the wedding of the son of a loyal courtier (who is also a Congress MP) in the full gaze of the paparazzi. There was no sign of restraint. It was as if Mumbai was another land.

The Delhi edition of Times of India did a seminal service by publishing two pages of photographs of the ruling family’s post-Mumbai celebrations. Those photographs did what thousands of candles, lakhs of text messages and a trillion words of indignation failed to achieve: Expose the callousness of India’s rulers.

Raul Vinci aka Rahul Gandhi's General Knowledge

'Immorality' complaint against Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday, December 31, 2003
Thiruvananthapuram,Kerala Dec 31 (IANS) A retired professor in Kerala has filed a complaint against Rahul Gandhi, the son of Congress president Sonia Gandhi, and his Colombian girlfriend saying that they should be charged under the immoral trafficking law.

John M. Itty, a retired college professor in Alapuzha district, has contended that action should be taken against Gandhi and his girlfriend Juvenitta - who spent three days in the backwaters of Kumarakom - under the law because they stayed together even though they were not married.

Itty had made his contention in a written complaint to the Kottayam Superintendent of Police S. Gopinath.

Gopinath said his office received the complaint Monday but no action was taken on it.

"I did not see Itty. All I received was a complaint that both Rahul Gandhi and his girlfriend should be charged under the law. Maybe he is trying to get some cheap publicity and that is why he resorted to raise such a complaint. I did not take any action because there was no offence," Gopinath told IANS.

The professor's son Shinoy John, a management student, said he knew his father had filed a complaint but did not know the details. "Right now my father is out of station," he said.

Gandhi and his girlfriend had spent three days at the Kumarakom Lake Resort with sister Priyanka, brother-in-law Robert Vadra and their children joining them. They left Kochi for Lakshadweep Islands Tuesday.
'Rahul, Juvenitta had no airs' by Times of India on January 1, 2004
The holiday at Kumarakom has ended but people at the resort in Kerala still speak about the unassuming manner of Congress president Sonia Gandhi's son Rahul and his Colombian girlfriend Juvenitta.

"They (Rahul and Juvenitta) were the least demanding and despite the security cover, there was absolutely no inconvenience to anyone," a source at the resort said.

Describing Juvenitta as a "quiet personality", the source said she had typical South American looks.

"She is almost as tall as (Rahul's sister) Priyanka (Vadra)."

Rahul Gandhi and Juvenuita had left Kumarakom Tuesday, accompanying Priyanka Vadra and her family to Lakshwadeep, where they ushered in the new year.

Priyanka Vadra had arrived here Monday and the others a day earlier.
Rajagopalan's Despatches on the General Elections 2004

Advani was weakest Home Minister: Cong

Kyunki, Rahul may follow Rajiv by Nilanjana Bhaduri Jha
Another phoren bahu at 10 Janpath? That's the first thought as stories of idyllic Gandhi holidays in the backwaters of Kerala filter through.

The second, that it does not make for good poll sense. The introduction of Rahul Gandhi's Colombian girlfriend Juvenitta into the country's consciousness right now may just remind the electorate of what Sonia Gandhi has been trying hard to make them forget: that she is a person of foreign origin seeking the highest political office in the land.

The debut was innocuous enough. At a year-end holiday in picturesque Kerala, where the couple accompanied Rahul's sister Priyanka and her family.

And Rahul Gandhi is not a public figure and so has a right to keep his life private. But this is also the season that Sonia Gandhi will have to do another big battle to tell the nation that she is the quintessential Indian bahu, having spent more time with Mother India than with mother Maino.

Don't talk to Congressmen. They guard Gandhi privacy more ferociously than they do the states they rule. But a slip of the tongue allows a bit to get away.

One such partyman says the piquancy of the situation is not lost on Sonia Gandhi. That Rahul would have long been wedded to Juvenitta had it not been for the political compulsions that his mother faces. Such an eventuality, the Congressman said, is almost certain once the Lok Sabha elections are over.

Till then the rumour mills will continue to grind. There have already been stray reports that they are already married.

And though the Gandhis managed to keep Juvenitta under the wrap while she was in the Capital, the couple vacationed freely in Kumarakom prompting the paparazzi to descend.

Also strange elements like a retired professor called John M Itty, who has filed an immorality complaint against Rahul.

While these can be dismissed as eccentricities or cheap publicity stunts, it will not take long for the Sonia-baiters in the BJP to latch on to the latest weak spot.

Sonia Gandhi's foreign origins is still a very live issue and Juvenitta adds a twist to the tale.
Though an upbeat BJP will not admit that.

"Sonia Gandhi's foreign origins are a poll issue and will continue to be so. But who marries whom in her family is not pertinent, " a prominent BJP minister said.

That is for now, when Rahul Gandhi is not a politician. But, Congress sources say, with the party fast losing ground, the debut of both the Gandhi scions will come sooner than later.

"Priyanka's could be as early as this month and there is no reason why Rahul will not be brought in too. He has been working on wiring up the organisation already," a Congressman said.

If that happens, it is difficult to see the BJP and sundry other foes doing the polite thing and keeping personal details out of political attacks. It is, after all, history repeating itself.

"My girlfriend’s name is Veronique not Juanita," laughs Rahul, "She is Spanish and not Venezuelan or Colombian. She is an architect not a waitress, though I wouldn’t have had a problem with that. She is also my best friend." He met her in his university in England.

Has he already proposed to her? "Hmm", he answers with a huge smile, "I am not sure when I will be settling down." Would he not be breaking many hearts here? "I hope not a lot of hearts," he grins, "You cannot make everyone happy."

Rahul Gandhi owns 83% in mystery Mumbai firm by Business Standard/Rediff
Rahul Gandhi owns 83% in a little known Mumbai-based engineering company, Backops Services.

However, even though the affidavit filed by Gandhi with his nomination papers for the Amethi Lok Sabha seat reads that he owns 83 per cent stake in 'Backops Services', the fourth floor office of the firm at Puran Nivas on Arthur Bunder Road, Colaba, displays the name 'Backops Engineering'.

The company has an official website -- back-ops.com, which contains the bare minimum information about the company's job and lists a mobile number, 35452225, to contact the company. The phone was switched off on Thursday.

Housed near the Taj Mahal Hotel, adjacent to the Radio Club, the Mumbai office of Backops employs about 10 people. Nobody knows who the 'boss' is here.

When Business Standard visited the building in the evening, the office was locked and no employee was seen. The 50-year-old building also houses a foreign exchange dealer, a firm of architects, an export house and a dental clinic.

Employees of some of these companies, under condition of anonymity, said they have often seen Gandhi here. "He was seen last about six months back. Normally he comes here every three to four months. Milind Deora (son of Murli Deora and a Congress MP) also comes here accompanying him," one of them said.

"Gandhi stays at the Taj Mahal Hotel whenever he comes to this office. Often, he is accompanied by foreign friends. Those days, lunch for the office comes from the five-star hotel," pointed out another.

An afternoon paper in Mumbai reported that the company was involved in the construction of the international airport building in Mumbai, the Belapur railway station in Navi Mumbai, a container freight station for Maersk Sealand, a commercial complex at Phoenix Mills at Lower Parel in Mumbai, the Wockhardt headquarters and the Wockhardt Hospital at Mulund in Mumbai, the IPCL township at Nagothane in Maharashtra, among others. Wockhardt officials have denied any involvement with the company.

A Mumbai-based leading civil engineering firm said it has no knowledge of Backops' existence.

Rahul Gandhi & his Girl friend making money in Bharath Varsh

Rahul Gandhi is the greatest....

India's man of mystery by Peter Foster
From the gossip columns we know that Rahul likes racing fast motorbikes, hangs out with the parliamentary public school set and has a foreign girlfriend - although her name and nationality is a continued source of debate. We, the great unwashed public, thought she was a Colombian called 'Juanita', but now apparently she's a Spaniard called Veronique.
Was Rahul Gandhi detained by FBI? - The Hindu
NEW DELHI, SEPT. 29. With the U.S. security agencies leaving nothing to chance after the September 11 terrorist strikes, sleuths of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) ``detained'' Mr. Rahul Gandhi, son of the former Prime Minister, Rajiv Gandhi, and the Leader of the Opposition, Ms. Sonia Gandhi, for about an hour at the Boston airport early this week, sources here said.

According to sources, Mr. Gandhi, reportedly travelling from Boston to Washington, was detained by the FBI agents who would not let him go even after checking his travel documents thoroughly. They checked his baggage, despite being told that he was the son of a former Indian Prime Minister.

Sources here maintain that only when the news reached 10, Janpath, and the Congress president, Ms. Sonia Gandhi, reportedly spoke to the Indian Ambassador in the U.S., Mr. Lalit Mansingh, Mr. Gandhi was able to proceed with his onward journey.

Though official circles were silent over the incident, Congress sources said they were concerned. Mr. Gandhi's movement should have been known to the U.S. security agencies because he is a Special Protection Group protectee. And, under the security drill, any movement of a SPG protectee abroad is communicated in advance to their counterparts in that country.

`Envoy did not intercede'

Meanwhile, Sridhar Krishnaswami reports from Washington, quoting well-placed diplomatic sources, that media reports of Mr. Mansingh having been brought into the picture to allow Mr. Gandhi to proceed on his onward journey from Boston to Washington ``are simply not true.''

The sources also said since Mr. Gandhi did not get any security protection here, the U.S. agencies were not under any obligation to inform the Indian Embassy of any contact they may have had with him.

In fact, some Embassy officials here have no knowledge of Mr. Gandhi's trip from Boston to Washington. ``But reports of Ms. Sonia Gandhi calling the Indian Ambassador and asking him to intercede with authorities on the `detention' of Mr. Rahul Gandhi are simply not true,'' a senior Indian diplomat told The Hindu.

Diplomats are pointing to the heightened security precautions in the U.S. in the aftermath of the terrorist attacks. Besides different layers of security check at airports, many are subjected to some intense questioning by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and other investigative agencies. But for official purposes, in the case of the movement of VVIPs - and in some cases VIPs - the Embassy notifies Diplomatic Security for necessary courtesies.
