Iranian Mullah's diktat, God says F**k the democracy and kill those who demand it just like Mullahs in Bharat (misnomer: India) preach. Please read “Johann Hari has Hindu Phobia”, “London Bridge is burning down...”, “Editorial slandering of Hindu symbols by CNN-IBN” and “Indian radical Muslim clerics and extremists unhappy with Sarkozy” for a few examples.

Hardline Iranian cleric Ahmad Khatami addresses worshippers in a sermon at Tehran university and calls for leading "rioters" to be executed.

In a sermon broadcast on Iranian state media outlet IRIB, Khatami , said the judiciary should charge the leading "rioters" as being "mohareb" or one who wages war against God.

Under Iran's Islamic law, punishment for people convicted as mohareb is execution.

The authorities have used a combination of warnings, arrests and the threat of police action to drive large demonstrations off Tehran's streets since multiple protests erupted in the wake of the disputed presidential election that saw moderate former Prime Minister Mirhossein Mousavi beaten by President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

Mockery of Democracy: Congress makes an illiterate a Minister in Rajasthan

There is a saying in Samskrtam (Sanskrit), राजानामनुवर्तन्ते यथा राजा तथा प्रजा। which means "As the King behaves, so does the Common people".

महर्षि बाल्मीकिविरचित श्री रामायण में उल्लिखित श्रीराम-जाबालि संवाद चर्चा है। उल्लिखित प्रसंग में मुनि जाबालि श्रीरामजी को समझाते हैं कि उन्हें जनसमुदाय की आकांक्षाओं का सम्मान करते हुए उनकी अयोध्या वापसी की पार्थना मान लेनी चाहिये और तदनुरूप दिवंगत राजा को दिये अपने वचन भुला देना चाहिए। अपनी बात के समर्थन में उन्होंने कतिपय तर्क भी पेश किये थे। श्रीरामजी प्रतिवाद करते हुए कहते हैं कि वचन तोड़ने से स्वर्गीय राजा को कोई क्लेश नहीं पहुंचेगा इसे मान लें तो भी समाज के व्यापक हित में ऐसा करना सर्वथा हानिकर होगा। उनका तर्क थाः

कामवृत्तोऽन्वयं लोकः कृत्स्नः समुवर्तते।
यद्वृत्ताः सन्ति राजानस्तद्वृत्ताः सन्ति हि प्रजाः।।९।।
(श्री रामायण, अयोध्याकाण्ड, सर्ग १०९)

अर्थात् यदि मैं (श्रीरामजी) आपकी बात मान लूं तो भी यह कहना ही होगा कि पहले तो मुझे स्वेच्छाचारी मान लिया जायेगा, फिर देखा-देखी समाज में सभी स्वेच्छाचारी हो जायेंगे। ऐसा इसलिए कि राजागण जैसा आचरण प्रस्तुत करते हैं प्रजा वैसा ही स्वयं भी करती है।

But that was the time of Shri Ram Rajya, the exemplar of society and ruled by the best King who was the epitome of Mankind. Look what is happening now, Congress has made a mockery of Democracy, again.

An illiterate lady called Golma Devi who couldn't even take her oath properly has been "installed" on a Ministerial position from one district of Dausa district. Her only qualification is that she is wife of somebody. Sounds familiar, right? In present case, this somebody is a rebel from BJP who switched sides at the last moment and the people blinded by their caste consideration voted for who-so-ever from their caste stood up. Without caring who it is, how literate he/she is, etc.

Golma is illiterate and couldn't even take her oath properly. But her prime qualification to get a ministerial berth is her husband Kirori Lal Meena, a powerful tribal leader who rebelled against the BJP just ahead of the recent elections, and now controls a number of Independent MLAs.

"My husband, who is a doctor, will help out and so will my personal assistant. What I am going to do is issue orders and keep visiting my area," says Golma Devi.

And with his wife getting a ministerial chair in the Gehlot government, Kirori Lal, a minister in the former Vasundhara government, is now ready to don the duty at home. "I will now do everything that Golma used to do. From washing clothes and cooking food to taking care of everyone at home."

In reality, Kirorilal managed a ministership for his wife primarily because he heads a group of five Independent MLAs. And Ashok Gehlot, who needs the support of Independents to run his government, is trying to turn his compulsion into a virtue.

"It is not necessary to be highly educated to become a minister. People who are not educated have a lot of common sense and Rabri Devi has already shown how they can be good administrators," he says.

While supporters claim its a triumph of democracy critics here say turning an illiterate Golma Devi into a minister is a mockery of democracy. But perhaps it reflects the truth of India's politics today, especially in a hung assembly where unless you offer ministerial berths, its almost impossible to cobble together a majority.

13-member Gehlot-led ministry sworn in

Gehlot, six days after he took oath as CM, went for a small ministry, which had four Independent MLAs including Golma Devi, the wife of BJP dissident leader Kirorilal Meena.

The 13-member ministry has an overdose of members from the Marwar and Dausa districts and in terms of caste, it is loaded with Jats and Meenas, including Bhil Meena, who between them comprise almost half the council of ministers.

In order to satisfy caste and regions, the chief minister appointed three parliamentary secretaries - Nana Lal Nimana from Mewar, Bramhadev Kumawat from Ajmer and Dilip Choudhry from Marwar region.

Gehlot could not get a single Gujjar in his cabinet.

Gehlot going Lalu way?

At a juncture when the entire country is demanding for a new breed of educated, accountable and responsible political leaders, an illiterate woman, Ms Golma Devi was allotted a minister of state position in Mr Ashok Gehlot's 13- member council of ministers. Though Ms Golma's personal details provided by the government describes her as a "homemaker with general education (Saamanya Shikshit Grahini) who takes keen interest in women empowerment movements, agriculture and farming", the fact remains that this 59-year-old woman has to literally grapple to make sense out of anything which is handed over to her in the written format. “Anyone who has been elected as a legislator can become a minister. Even those who have limited formal education might have good common sense and knowledge.

Golma - Rajasthan's own Rabri Devi? Yes, says the CMHer face covered in a veil, 52-year-old Golma Devi, who can hardly read or write, was among 13 ministers inducted in Ashok Gehlot government on Friday.

Dressed in a traditional yellow "Odhana and Ghaghara", Golma, wife of dissident BJP leader Kirorilal Meena, failed to even read out the oath of office and secrecy.

It was left to another independent MLA R K Saini, who was also sworn in as state minister, to assist her to complete the laid down procedure.

As Governor of Rajasthan S K Singh started administering the oath to Gola at Raj Bhawan here, it was a apparently a display of rote learning for her as she blurted out--- "Golma Devi bolrahi hoon" (Golma Devi is speaking), drawing peals of laughter from the audience.

For the second time, when the Governor started with the oath, Golma just repeated her previous line "I...". As she struggled, the oath was taken as "read".

But what can you expect from these contemporary dynasty following sycophant politicians, they openly say they don't believe in God Shri Ram. So why would they believe in his aadarsh (morals)?

Bharat (India): Is it Democracy or Demonarchy?

In 1928, Bharatvaasi (misnomer: Indians) initiated an agitation as a part of bigger fight for Independence from the Britishers with a call "Simon Go Back". In November 1927 the British appointed the Indian Statutory Commission, headed by John Simon. Britain had been unwilling to make a commitment on India’s constitutional advance. The people had enough and were further irked by the commission, its exclusively British composition and the manner of its appointment.

The commission was to inquire into the “working of the system of government, the growth of education and the development of representative institutions and matters connected therewith”. It was to report further on the degree of “Responsible Govern-ment”. The terms of reference were provocative: it was to report on “whether and to what extent it is desirable to establish the principle of Responsible Government or to extend, modify or restrict the degree of Responsible Government”.

A women’s meeting in Bombay, presided over by Sarojini Naidu, in early December 1927 called for a boycott. The Congress and most other political parties resolved to oppose the statutory commission. The “Simon Go Back” slogan which rang out throughout India is supposedly coined by the Bombay-based Socialist, Yusuf Meherally, whose birth centenary falls in 2003. As Bombay, the Gateway to India, greeted the commission with Meherally’s slogan, the same words were echoed by the rest of the country. Meherally himself was arrested in Bombay, placed inside a drum and rolled for a long distance on the road. Later he described it wryly as “a moving experience.”

It is that time again after 80 years. Bharat is again ruled by foreigners and Anti-Hindu fundamentalists, but this time it is Italian Christian Antonia Maino aka Sonia Gandhi who is systematically destroying the Hindu history, Cultural ethos, and Secular fabric (accept those who will behave as per laid foundations and code of Dharmic civil society) of this nation. It is that time again that a call should be made by one and all Bharatvaasi who want to save this nation. A call "Sonia Go Back". Choice is yours Bharatvaasion, you want the ultimate epitome of Swarajya (self-rule) and Samaj (society) like Shri Ram Rajya which even Mr. Mohandas K Gandhi dreamt for Bharat or you want another hundreds of years of slavery under Romeraj like Britishraj?

Like Mrs. Sandhya Jain says below "Sonia Gandhi’s divisive agenda has never been more obvious: it is time to tell her that she has outlived her welcome in India." The choice is yours.

Congress dynasty matrix

By now even the most steadfast sycophants of the Congress party’s premier dynasty can deny that Mr. Rahul Gandhi’s elevation as general secretary and CWC member has failed to enthuse either the rank and file or the people at large. Even friendly political analysts are unsure if the so-called ‘new generation’ leaders, mostly the offspring of Ministers or MPs close to the Gandhi family, can find favour with a new generation of Indian voters. Other political parties, convinced that the rising Congress leadership is no threat, are at the same time uncertain if complacency with the old is the best option with a looming midterm election.

To my mind, much of the confusion is due to the steady secularisation of our political discourse and thought process, which has made us forget that India thinks in terms of eras (yugas), rather than mere generations (peedhis). As yugas span multiple generations, only those politicians or parties can enjoy long-term success that address issues and aspirations that span multiple generations—that is, they have appeal for all genders and generations in every Indian home. Mrs Indira Gandhi’s garibi hatao and the BJP’s Ramjanmabhoomi movements had such cross-gender and cross-generation appeal; Mr. Rajiv Gandhi’s spin doctors emphasised youth in terms of age rather than aspirations and values to gloss over the fact that inheritance was his sole USP. This is even truer of his son Rahul: his disconnect with ideology and people is too glaring to be overlooked.

Mr. Gandhi has been in politics long enough to learn the ropes and for people to judge if he has the potential to make it to the top league. His first interview as he tried to chalk out his political career early in 2004 had to be hastily denied by the Congress party. The newsmagazine that produced the scoop, famed for its uncompromising crusading zeal, saw wisdom in a tactical retreat. So though the interview-that-wasn’t was not a figment of the journalists’ imagination, it was a ‘misunderstanding.’ Shorn of journalese, this means the interview fully reflected the immaturity of Sonia’s boy, but the journal in question should have known better than to publish it.

Rahul’s next real stint in public eye came with the much touted captaincy of the Congress campaign in the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections in May 2007. Some loyal retainers ensured he did not officially take responsibility for improving the electoral output of the moribund party. And so when the party raked in an abysmal 22 seats after road-shows and other media tamashas, the young man conveniently left the state president to take the rap and went underground! He surfaced after a few days, blaming the party machinery for failing to live up to his efforts; a view echoed by his mother later in her address to the Congress Parliamentary Party. This is clearly not the stuff that leaders are made off. Fate seems to agree. That is why, just when the looming mid-term elections made the Congress president launch the party’s “future” as general secretary, the event was eclipsed by India’s Twenty20 World Cup victory.

More ominous is the manner in which Ms. Sonia Gandhi has converted the party into a ‘club’ of scions of political cronies of the late Rajiv Gandhi. This may increase Rahul Gandhi’s personal comfort levels he functioned through a small coterie in the UP elections which ended in a rout. So it is questionable if the new fangled Publicity Committee and “group to look into future challenges” can deliver the goods at grassroots level.

Rahul Gandhi is a part of the committee on future challenges; its purpose is to build political strategies on key issues such as the controversy over OBC quota in education and the Ram Sethu. This 13-member body includes stalwarts like Veerappa Moily, Digvijay Singh and Dr Parmeshwar, Union Ministers Vayalar Ravi, Prithviraj Chavan, Anand Sharma and Jairam Ramesh (convener), and young MPs like Jyotiraditya Scindia, Sandeep Dikshit and Sachin Pilot and leaders like Mukul Wasnik and Salman Khurshid.

There is a disconnect between Rahul Gandhi’s sharp elevation as full-fledged CWC member and the accommodation of other youngsters as AICC secretaries: Jyotiraditya Scindia, Ajay Maken, Priya Dutt, Milind Deora, Sachin Pilot, Jitin Prasad, Sandeep Dikshit and Harender Mirdha. Even the reconstituted Publicity and Publication Committee headed by Digvijay Singh includes Rahul Gandhi.

Ms. Sonia Gandhi should have pondered the merits of promoting Rahul Gandhi so steeply above other contemporaries. When Mr Rajiv Gandhi became Prime Minister in 1984, he accommodated close chums Arun Nehru and Arun Singh as Ministers of State in the ministries of Home and Defence respectively. Political observers had misgivings over how this disparity - denial of even Cabinet rank to close confidants - would play out. As is well known, both men parted ways with Mr Rajiv Gandhi, and his own fortunes saw a remarkable fall with their exit.

At a dinner hosted by Vice-President M. Hamid Ansari, Ms. Gandhi dubbed the changes “long overdue,” which implies they were well thought out. Yet the reshuffle of the AICC, supposedly drawing talent from the government and parliamentary party to balance groups and regions, raises eyebrows over her perceptions and vision.

There are 11 general secretaries. These include Minister of State Prithviraj Chavan (J&K, Karnataka); Minister of State Ajay Maken (Jharkhand, Orissa); Lok Sabha MP Kishore Chandra Deo ( Bihar ). Ms. Mohsina Kidwai represents Muslims and is in-charge of Kerala and the Mahila Congress; upper castes are represented by Mr. Motilal Vora and Mr. Janardan Dwivedi; Dalits by Mr. Mukul Wasnik and Mr. K.C. Deo; OBCs by Mr. B.K. Hari Prasad and minorities by Ms. Margaret Alva (The Hindustan Times, September 25, 2007).

This is astonishing. Congress is now providing representation to Muslims as “Muslims” and to Christians as “minorities.” This surely reflects a larger design to push communal quotas for Christians and Muslims separately, first at state level through its own government (Andhra Pradesh) or through friendly regimes (Tamil Nadu), and then at the Centre (through the Sachar Committee and the Ranganath Mishra Commission).

A separate representative for Christians (minorities) suggests a dangerous adherence to the church’s evangelical agenda, which is being aggressively promoted by the Vatican and various Protestant denominations headquartered in America and Europe. It is surely an interesting coincidence that most P-5 countries seeking to cap India ’s nuclear programme are also major sponsors of evangelism in India. Sonia Gandhi’s divisive agenda has never been more obvious: it is time to tell her that she has outlived her welcome in India.
