Govt. of India to press Pak for concrete action on terror

Whats new in this? Haven't we done this already a gazillion times in past.

India: Stop terror.
Pakistan (pre 9/11): What terrorism? You stop suppressing freedom struggle/HR violation.
Pakistan (post 9/11): OK, we already did. And they are your home grown terrorists (they are partially correct in this case unfortunately).
India: After another bomb blast, "we are united, please maintain calm, we will answer back, opposition don't hold us accountable as we consider it politicking".
...and round and round we go.

Actually we, the Congress don't give two hoots for Indian citizens, as long as crowned heir of Congress Rahul Maino and Madam Sonia Maino are safe to carry forward the dynasty. And hey people do like his dimples, and vote us into power because of it. So who cares?!

No sir, we care, cause life of every Indian citizen is important, in fact more important than that imported Italian dictator of yours. So STFU, and do something about this menace.

PM's commitment to fighting terror suspect

I totally agree with Mr. Jaitley, it would not be wise of people of India to trust a spineless puppet minister with a dismal record, or rather no record of even acknowledging the fact that India is going through an undeclared unconventional war and it needs a special law with autonomous federal agencies like FBI & CIA as soon as possible. It took him four years to even speak on the subject unwillingly.

Too bad he looses sleep only if a person of a particular community is caught in the arms of Law in a foreign land not if an engineer kidnapped by Taliban in Afghanistan and of course to say bon voyage to Sonia at 2 AM by insulting every possible protocols and demean the office of Prime Minister. While he is busy sleeping, China has claimed Sikkim also. So how many states does India have left now to loose Mr. PM? 10-11?

Instead of calling off his trip (read vacation) and doing an emergency meeting of all the Chief Ministers or Parliament to get their act together, he is busy enjoying the valleys of Bhutan. Mr. PM, I got two words for you, Vande Mataram! These two words got us our Independence not to loose it again to these fanatics and disintegrate Bharat again. Wake up Bharatiyon!

Over the past one week, all I have seen is the same standard one line response from spineless Indian govt. But it is nice to see some real responses from usually pseudo-secularist biased media. Tenants rule, owners are absent
Dr Do Little issued a strong statement condemning the dastardly act and Mr. Do Nothings shook the media headlines before leaving for their summer vacation. That's how the Jaipur blasts have been dealt with. Like any other blast, like any other calamity inflicted by Osama bin Laden's bravehearts who choose their targets in the thick of night or from among the innocent populace going to temples or markets. This is the level of courage they show in the name of their faith.

The myth of zero tolerance of terror
An important component of the terror war on India is to create a wide base of support for it within our country. And this is being sought to be achieved by mounting a systematic campaign of falsehood that Muslims in India are a persecuted lot, that they will never get justice in secular India, that secularism is itself against the tenets of Islam, and that Muslims can lead a truly Islamic way of life only in an Islamic state. This too is not unconcealed in the documents of terrorist organisations or in the speeches of their leaders. All this is known to those in important positions in the government of India. The question is: what are they doing about it?

Have they promoted an intellectual climate in the country whereby no support is extended to terrorists, in the way that many self-styled secularists have done to the likes of Mohammad Afzal, who is convicted in the case of the terrorist attack on Parliament? The answer to these questions shows how bogus is Home Minister Shivraj Patil’s oft-repeated claim that the UPA government has a zero-tolerance approach to terrorism.

This war that nobody is fighting
How does our government respond? It does not. When some terrible tragedy occurs like in Jaipur last week our biggest leaders respond exactly as they would if there were an earthquake or a flood and the relief effort needed to be gauged. They get into their private aeroplanes and fly down to the site where the horror has occurred and ask the sort of silly questions Sonia Gandhi did when she visited the injured in Jaipur’s hospitals. Did you see anything? Where does it hurt? No, Madame, it is not possible to see much if you are being blown to bits and yes it hurts like hell to see such a namby-pamby, cowardly response in the face of such a grave threat to the country.
