Mr. Modi asks Akola's people to fulfill MK Gandhi's dream to dismantle Congress after Independence was declared in 1947. He says "Gandhi ka Hindusthan banana hai, Congress ko Tala lagana hai" (Fulfill Gandhi's dream by dismantling Congress Lock, Stock and Barrel).

UPA is behaving like a media house, says Modi during an impressive election meeting in Rourkela.

Ticking off the UPA government on the latest intelligence input that at least 20 Taliban terrorists had slipped into India, Gujarat chief minister Mr Narendra Modi said: "What is the UPA government doing, it seems to behave like a media house providing information about such incidents to the people".

Mr Modi drew loud applause from the crowd as he threw questions at them and exhorted them to vote for a strong government headed by Mr LK Advani. In fact the turnout was the largest amongst the recent round of star campaigners for various political parties including Mr Rahul Gandhi for the Congress and chief minister Mr Naveen Patnaik for the BJD.
